Cody and Aubrey Long
Cody and Aubrey met while serving in the United States Army and stationed in Germany in 2000. In their civilian life, their love of community has evolved into serving coffee, food and conversation to their friends and neighbors! They have quickly gained respect as hardworking entrepreneurs by building strong business partnerships and holding board positions on important local organizations, like the Historic Downtown Cleburne Association

With more than a century of history in its bones, our coffee house has lived many lives! A private residence, a café, longtime home to a local accountant and then in 2023, the Longs took the path less traveled by and decided to transform this beautiful building into their own coffee house. The downstairs is now bright and filled with colorful art. The upstairs is secluded with private spaces for customers to hide from the world with space for local businesses to rent . The building neighbors a historic Carnegie Library which is now home to the Layland Museum of History - great company to keep, as Nolan River Coffee looks to build a legacy of their own!
